Medasin has graced us today with the mix he recently did for Australian radio station Triple J. The Dallas-based producer has clearly been at work since his recent remix of DJ Khaled, Rihanna, and Bryson Tiller’s hit “Wild Thoughts.” He’s made sure to include a handful of his unreleased tracks as well as some of his favorites in this mix.
Got the opportunity to stop by triple J HQ in Sydney recently and do a short mix of some of my all time favs, and some of what ive been listening to lately + a couple unreleased ideas i've had laying around for a while that will likely never see the light of day. – Medasin
The mix includes releases from other forward-thinking acts such as Galimatias, Louis The Child, Sam Gellaitry, and more. What’s really special about his Triple J mix, however, are the three ID’s Medasin has included. The first of these is a stripped-down, atmospheric collaboration with whereisalex. The next unreleased track comes after “Daydream,” his soulful collaboration with BROCKHAMPTON member JOBA we premiered last year. This ID is a bright and bouncy tune with melodic chords and a bubbly lead. Medasin’s final ID makes for the perfect outro with a cinematic landscape complete with swelling pads and nostalgic chimes. Check out the mix and full tracklist below and enjoy!
