Just last month we had the pleasure of introducing a brand new artist benny mayne who we’re excited about and now he’s back with even more fire! His debut single “bounce” really set the bar high, and this new one might be even better. The newcomer R&B / hip-hop artist has a knack for creating incredible catchy songs, and we’re stoked to be premiering his new track “lucky” as an appropriate release on Valentines day.
This new track is produced by Rosco and combines warm, moody synths, a bouncing piano melody, and gritty bassline placed alongside the hip-hop drums bringing everything together as the perfect backdrop for mayne's smooth vocals. Here the Toronto-based benny mayne puts both his songwriting and vocals range on full display with lyrics that aren’t quite a romantic love song. On "lucky, his voice is just as addictive as we heard previously and has us excited to see him grow.
