Melodic bass connoisseur Illenium has been on an absolute tear throughout 2017. The most notable release from the artist was no doubt his sophomore album, AWAKE, which landed him on our list of best electronic albums of the year for the second consecutive time – his debut album, Ashes, also landed a spot in 2016.
In addition to his incredible album, Illenium is currently wrapping up his AWAKE tour that brought him to cities all around the country over the past couple of months. One of his recent stops was in St. Louis, Missouri, where he teased a wild new collaboration with Kill The Noise. The track starts off slow with a chilling vocal melody, shortly before leading into an intense build with cascading snarls of bass and steadily growing percussion. Kill The Noise’s heavy influence is impossible to ignore on the drop, with Illenium’s more emotional style shining through as the song progresses.
In addition to the impressive track, Illenium’s show featured vibrant visuals, lights and an overall stunning live production.
