Empire of the Sun have just shared a new EP titled on our way home On Our Way Home. The new EP brings two new original tracks "On Our Way Home" and "Two Leaves" in addition to the previous single "Way To Go" with two remixes as well. This builds upon the strong catalogue the Australian duo already had under their belts as they evolve their sound.
The first new track "On Our Way Home" is exactly the signature sound we've known from the duo for years and is a catchy indie electronic gem that carries a danceability throughout. "Two Leaves" switches things up a bit as they go a much more mellow route pairing the lead vocals with backing vocals while highlighting the instrumental containing gentle strings, guitar, and some well-placed samples alongside unconventional percussion that all comes together so well.
