The 2017 Grammys have brought together some incredible collaborative performances. One of the performances we’ve been looking forward to these leading up to the awards is A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak playing together.
Anderson .Paak was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album, but wasn't able to grab either win. A Tribe Called Quest recently made their epic return delivering their first album in 18 years, which featured Anderson .Paak on "Movin Backwards". Before .Paak came out in this Grammy performance, ATCQ did a tribute for the late Phife Dawg with short rendition of their classic hit "Award Tour".
The seasoned hip-hop veterans proved to be a great match alongside .Paak. They performed their collaboration “Movin Backwards" with .Paak on drums while rapping and singing. Then Busta Rhymes and Consequence came joined for "We The People", where they all rapped side by side in the epic performance. Enjoy!
