Chicago-based producer and formerly 1/2 of Flosstradamus YehMe2 is currently a name to watch in the bass music scene with his out-of-the-box style showcased on his tracks. His first introduction to TSIS was through the mini-mix he did as part of Jayceeoh's "Super 7 Vol. 7" mix series we premiered last month. Now he's released an impressive remix of XXXTentacion's "Looking For A Star" maintains the quirky albeit heavy vibe of previous releases.
YehMe2 has managed to turn the Diplo-produced hip-hop track into a dark trap banger. He expertly chops XXXTentacion's vocals to create a complex lead melody, backed by heavy bass and pungent snares. YehMe2 throws in double-time percussion for the second drop, changing up the vibe while keeping the energy.
