Today we have the pleasure of introducing talented producer Maddy O’Neal to the site with her latest single “Wanna Know”. This impressive new release from Maddy is the lead single off her forthcoming 5-track Parallels EP dropping via Michal Menert’s Super Best Records that we’re excited to hear in full.
Colorado-based Maddy O’Neal got her start as part of a duo called Krooked Drivers and has since gone the solo route further fine tuning her genre-blending sound. “Wanna Know” brings hip-hop influenced percussion with glitchy production fusing funky electronic elements with soulful instrumentation making for a feel-good summer jam.
The track was actually done as a collaboration with Maddy’s brother Evan while on a trip to California after years of talking about doing a collaboration together as the siblings proved to be a natural fit musically. Maddy has worked closely with Pretty Lights in the past and has upcoming shows with Pretty Lights and Big Gigantic in addition to some exciting festival performances so see her tour dates below and be sure to catch her live if you have the chance.
