From his remixes of Flume and Snakehips to his collaborations with Falcons and KRANE, Ekali has quickly become one of the most powerful electronic producers out there. Toward the end of last month, Ekali hopped on the decks to throw down an incredible hourlong mix for BBC Radio 1’s Diplo & Friends.
During his 60-minute guest mix, Ekali spun everything from trap to future bass to dubstep while of course throwing in a few unreleased tracks from himself and others. Jumping straight in with Mr. Carmack’s wild remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA.”, Ekali dropped bangers such as Skrillex and Habstrakt’s "Chicken Soup", Getter’s “Inhalant Abuse” and even his own edit of Boombox Cartel’s “Alamo” x Porter Robinson & Madeon’s “Shelter”.
