Over the past couple years Prince Fox has focused on original music, releasing singles like "I Don't Want To Love You" and "Fragile" feat. Hailee Steinfeld. We first came across his music back in 2014 and were seriously impressed by his remixes and premiered a handful of them -- "My Love", by Route 94, "You've Got The Love" by Florence + The Machine, and "Blind Heart" by Cazzette to name a few.
His latest is a remix of "Guys My Age" by LA-based band Hey Violet and we're stoked to premiere it. He sticks to his signature style which he describes as "future pop" and we're all about it. He incorporates bright plucks, a house bassline and uplifting future bass synths into one seamless mix. Prince Fox says he wanted to give fans something more suited for the dance floor and he certainly delivers that here.
"The songs are structured in a traditional manner with verses and choruses, but they’re produced with an underground flavor—spanning everything that influences me from deep house, to future bass, to UK garage...I want to write songs that are more than just builds and drops."
