This is huge - with 2018 marking a decade since Kid Cudi blessed us with his first mixtape, today the Cleveland-based rapper has just announced he’s working on a new album!
It’s been just over two years since Kid Cudi dropped his last solo album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ and subsequently announced that he would be taking a break from music and checking into rehab. But with his return via Kids See Ghosts with Kanye, we’ve been ecstatic to see one of our absolute favorites making such an incredible comeback.
Having already announced that he and Kanye plan to make more than one Kids See Ghosts album and coming off a recent feature on Quavo’s new album, it seems that it was only a matter of time before Cudi started putting in work on a new project of his own - which he revealed today via a reply to a fans tweet. While it seems we'll have to wait till next year (possibly) for the new album, we're already pumped to see what the new Cudi will sound like. See his announcement tweet below and enjoy!
