With these recent releases from Jauz and Knife Party, It seems as though electro-house is making a bit of a resurgence this summer...and we’re 100% on board with it! But the trend may have to take a rain-check, as it seems that Wolfgang Gartner and JayKode have just set the bar extremely high with their brand new collab, “The Upside Down”.
With WG coming off an incredible collab with K?D plus his recent single “Ching Ching” and JayKode still riding the wave of both his stunning Porter x Madeon and KRANE remixes, these two have definitely set themselves up for summer success with this latest “Stranger Things”-inspired offering. Filled with wonky, pulsing risers, hard-hitting percussion, heavy, distorted bass and of course, WG’s signature eerie synth lead, both Wolfgang Gartner’s fast-paced house structure and JayKode’s heavy-bass sound design fit almost too perfectly together on this new one.
