Best known for their mashups, The White Panda have been crushing their remixes lately and continue this trend by giving VÉRITÉ’s cover of The 1975’s "Somebody Else" a refreshing remix treatment. We’ve heard them impress us before with their solid reworks including their future bass flip of Zayn’s "Like I Would" and we're excited to be sharing their latest.
While they’ve made a name for themselves through various mashup albums and mixes, the duo are focusing on remixes and originals this year and are off to a great start. VÉRITÉ’s relaxing cover has now been transformed into a dance-friendly tune. The White Panda gave the track new energy by introducing new percussion and melodies leading up to a glitchy drop filled with gentle horn bursts and expertly placed vocal chops.
The duo continues to show that not only do they have a great ear for pairing songs on mashups, but they are talented producers as well. Following a successful recent tour, they’ll be playing Firefly Music Festival for the 5th time this year. Enjoy!
